Laura is a New Jersey licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She holds a certificate from the NJ Department of Education as a Speech Language Specialist. Laura is a Qualified Orofacial Myologist.
Laura attends professional trainings to expand her knowledge and stay updated with the latest research. She has specialized training in pediatric feeding, TalkTools Oral Placement Therapy, speech sound disorders, orofacial myology, gestalt language processing, and motor speech disorders. Laura is a PROMPT-Trained clinician.
Special areas of interest include feeding, starting solids, picky eating, myofunctional disorders, early intervention, speech-sound disorders, gestalt language processing and motor speech disorders. She has experience helping autistic children and children with apraxia, hearing loss and many other diagnoses.
